Terms of Service
These terms describe how Signal Desk provides news, civic-action assistance, and paid request services.
Service
Signal Desk provides news summaries, issue briefings, representative lookup, paid civic-assistance intake, and fax/message preparation. Signal Desk does not guarantee any political outcome, official response, vote, policy change, delivery result, or legal result.
User Responsibility
You are responsible for providing accurate identity, contact, location, payment, and authorization information. You may submit requests only for yourself unless Signal Desk separately approves another lawful arrangement.
Safety and Authorization
Signal Desk may use internal tools to prepare messages, summarize stories, classify urgency, or assist service workflow. Signal Desk may refuse, edit, delay, or reject requests that are inaccurate, abusive, unlawful, impersonating another person, or outside the service scope.
No Threats or Violence
Signal Desk is for lawful civic speech. You may not use the service to threaten, harass, intimidate, dox, encourage violence, plan illegal activity, or ask anyone to harm a person or property. Users are responsible for the content they submit. Signal Desk may reject, preserve, remove, or report content that appears threatening, unlawful, or dangerous.
Payments
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as PayPal or Stripe. Signal Desk does not store raw credit card numbers. Message delivery moves forward only after payment is attached to the request.
Refunds and Redos
All Signal Desk civic-action request payments are final once submitted. Because each request involves intake, issue preparation, message drafting, routing, and service work performed on the user's behalf, Signal Desk does not offer refunds after payment is submitted, except where required by law.
If there is a delivery problem, incorrect office routing, or technical issue, Signal Desk may provide a redo, correction, or reattempt of the request at no additional charge.
No Legal Advice
Signal Desk content is informational and civic in nature. It is not legal advice, lobbying compliance advice, tax advice, campaign finance advice, or a substitute for an attorney.
Lawful Requests
Signal Desk may cooperate with valid legal process, court orders, warrants, emergency safety requests, and provider abuse investigations as required or permitted by law.
Changes
Signal Desk may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after updates means you accept the updated terms.
